Crafts in the Pen, Skipton

So today was day 1 of my biggest craft fair to date, Crafts in the Pen at Skipton. 170 different artists and crafts people have turned the cattle auction market into a bustling Christmas village. And with temperatures inside barely above freezing and the deafening sound of hail on the tin roof, it certainly put the Winter into the festivities. So, not only is this my largest fair yet, it’s also my first overnighter (Staying at the lovely Throstle Nest Farm B&B), it’s almost exactly one year since I started Kat Pearson Designs. It is the perfect opportunity to review how far I’ve come, but that’s for another post! As for today… Launched a few new designs this week as well as some new variations using existing illustrations.

The cats are selling well (I’ve had both new ginger cats sell within an hour of them first going on the shelf this week! I’ve also been completely cleared out of all my Pocket Cats for now so I guess they’re on the top of my to do list! Back again tomorrow (Sun 20th Nov 10am-4pm) at Skipton Auction Mart. I also get hand over my latest bespoke nativity set.

Until tomorrow then, where I will be armed with my trusty flask of hot Vimto to ward off the cold, night night folks!
